3 Ingredient Finger Paint
This three ingredient non-toxic finger paint is super easy to make and is ready in minutes.
It’s a sensory smorgasbord for children of all ages, and is extra appealing to bubs and toddlers as the paint is soft and has a gel like consistency. The other benefit of this paint is that if little ones do happen to put it in their mouth, (despite it not tasting the best), it isn’t harmful to them.
3 tablespoons of cornflour (45ml)
1 cup of cold water
To a small saucepan add the cornflour and water. Using a whisk, mix for 30 seconds to remove any lumps.
Place the saucepan onto medium heat and continually whisk for approximately 1-2 minutes or until the mixture is thick smooth and glossy.
Carefully remove from the heat, spoon into separate bowls and add a few drops of food colouring to each and stir to combine. Let the paint cool and let your little Picasso’s go wild.
Note – There are no preservatives in this paint mixture so it will only keep for a few days before perishing. Cover any leftover paint in cling wrap and use within 3-4 days.
Happy painting with your little poppets.
