Yumbox Panino Review – Back to School
Just to paint the picture for you before you before I dive into this review, despite being admin of our Lunchbox Mums group on Facebook, I don’t enjoy making lunches nor did I understand the hype surrounding what I thought were overpriced designer bento boxes. This was until the lovely Angeline owner of Bambino Love kindly offered me this Yumbox Panino to review.
Prior to receiving our Yumbox I was using cheap generic lunchboxes for my three year old son and every time they broke within a week. $5 here and $7 there on cheaper boxes was adding up so I was considering purchasing a Yumbox, so this review presented at just the right time.
Jackson is your typical rough and tumble 3 year old, he’s heavy handed with his things, but I’m pleased to report despite a few outbursts and a thrown school bag, his Yumbox has remained in tact where the cheaper alternatives would have perished.
I love the panino fits a whole sandwich and the space is big enough to maintain variety with his lunches, as wraps, a bread roll and scrolls also fit within the larger compartment. I’m also a huge fan of the printed prompts in the base of the Yumbox so when I’m preparing his lunch for daycare in a zombie like state at 5am I don’t have to think too hard about what to include to ensure a well balanced lunch.
We’ve been using our Yumbox Panino for 3 months now and couldn’t be happier, so much so I’ve purchased another. I feel confident after a full terms worth of use in recommending Yumbox to fellow parents, as here at Mumspo Mag we take reviews and recommendations seriously and will only ever present you with honest and reliable feedback.
I don’t have any negatives to add to my review, the Yumbox is super sturdy, easy to wash, the latch is easy for little hands to open and they fit nicely into most insulated lunch bags on the market.
Bambino Love have also so generously offered Mumspo Mag readers an exclusive discount code which no doubt will come in very handy as back to school approaches at the speed of light.
Thanks for reading,
